Junior Cyber Strategy & Architecture Consultant (m/w/d) - Focus GRC

Responsibilities

• As a Junior Cyber Strategy & Architecture Consultant (m/w/d) with a focus on GRC located in Germany, you will work with Senior or Principal Consultants to support our clients in reinforcing their security posture. Typical engagements include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting client IT or security teams with the implementation of strategic security programs and projects; you collaborate with other NVISO experts to address customer challenges or integrate with the client organization.
• Supporting the refinement of security governance, policies, processes and guidelines in all areas of cyber security.
• Assisting the implementation of the client’s ISMS (Information Security Management Systems) by implementing NVISO solutions based on controls frameworks.
• Supporting the refinement of the client’s Security Strategy by developing Enterprise and IT governance structures through policies, standards, processes and operational structures.
• Assisting in defining action plans in alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assisting in achieving or maintaining compliance with information security legal, contractual, or internal requirements, including implementing semi-automated solutions (GRC and Continuous Compliance supported by scripted and automated solutions).
• Assisting in the preparation of reporting to the client’s senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree; education need not be IT/tech, but a strong affinity with technology is required.
• Basic knowledge in cyber security.
• Basic knowledge of automation and coding is beneficial but not required.
• Experience mapping NIST, ISO27001, NIS2 and/or DORA requirements to practical implementations is beneficial.
• Able to work autonomously while valuing teamwork.
• Basic project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal German and English communication skills.
• You hold citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states.
