(Junior) Financial Business Partner Operations (all genders)

In this role you bridge supply chain activity and financial performance within the Ops Controlling team. You own inventory reporting, align sales and demand planning with budgets, and monitor PO costs to safeguard working capital. You collaborate closely with Global Supply Planning and HQ Finance to turn operational data into clear financial insight. This is a growing area where you contribute to closing-relevant processes and drive cost transparency. You will be part of shaping resilient, data-driven financial processes at tonies.

• Own monthly inventory reporting and forecasting, analyzing stock levels and trends to optimize working capital
• Coordinate monthly sales and demand planning checks to ensure alignment with financial targets
• Oversee PO approval workflow and monitor PO budget consumption for cost control
• Manage slow-moving inventory, perform long-tail analyses, calculate write-offs/provisions, and coordinate scrapping
• Analyze COGS and its impact on contribution margin, including one-off effects
• Act as backup for closing-relevant Ops Controlling tasks to ensure month-end continuity
• Partner with Global Supply Planning for regular cost reporting, budgeting, and forecasting of OPEX
• Identify and implement process improvements across reporting structures
• Support finance transformation initiatives, including system enhancements, SAP implementation or BI integrations

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 3+ years in Controlling, FP&A, or Financial Reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, PowerQuery, pivots, modeling)
• ERP experience, ideally Business Central and/or SAP
• Strong understanding of inventory and ability to handle large data sets with precision
• Excellent communication and ability to present financial concepts clearly
