Experience in the hospitality, FF&E, furniture, or commercial kitchen equipment industries is highly advantageous , as it will help you quickly understand our products, suppliers, and market environment. Experience working with international suppliers, manufacturers, or sourcing projects is also a strong plus.
Your Responsibilities
- You research new suppliers and manufacturers in Europe, Asia, and North America and help build our worldwide supplier network.
- You review and qualify potential partners, request documents and certificates, and document your findings.
- You prepare requests for quotation, compare offers, and put together decision documents for pricing and contract negotiations.
- You contribute to negotiations and, as your experience grows, take over your own product groups and supplier relationships.
- You monitor sourcing markets, price developments, and new manufacturing options for FF&E, hospitality and contract furniture, as well as commercial kitchen and foodservice equipment.
- You support the initial sampling of new parts and align specifications with engineering and product development.
- You evaluate existing suppliers based on quality, on-time delivery, and cost competitiveness, and derive development measures from your findings.
- You join factory visits, supplier audits, and international sourcing trips together with experienced colleagues.
Your Profile
- First professional experience in inside sales, order processing, logistics, or purchasing – ideally in a technical or manufacturing environment
- Interest in international supplier markets, manufacturing processes, and cost structures, and the drive to build real expertise here
- Initial exposure to FF&E, hospitality furniture, commercial kitchen equipment, or foodservice equipment is a plus, not a requirement – we will train you on our product world
- Confident handling of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Very good German and English language skills; additional languages are an advantage
- Self‑motivated, structured working style with strong communication skills and the confidence to speak with suppliers directly
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
