(Junior) Operations Manager - BESS & Trading (d/f/m)

In this role you support the lifecycle and real-time operation of battery storage assets within a fast-moving energy trading team. You collaborate across tech, trading, and ops to keep BESS assets performing, scale capabilities, and improve processes. You build playbooks and documentation to enable rapid, reliable operations as the company scales across Europe. A hands-on position with a clear impact on grid stability and energy transition.

• Support the BESS asset lifecycle from go-live to daily performance
• Monitor real-time asset performance and respond to anomalies
• Solve problems under pressure and coordinate with multiple teams
• Improve operational processes and prevent issues before they occur
• Create clear, actionable documentation and playbooks
• Collaborate with tech, trading, and ops to push systems forward

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Energy Systems, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in energy/trading operations, technical support, asset operations, or related field
• Comfort with dashboards and monitoring tools to identify real-time anomalies
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills
• Motivation to learn energy assets behavior, grid dynamics, and trading mechanisms
• Ownership mindset and problem-solving orientation
• English and German proficiency at C1+ level
