Your Tasks

• Supporting the conception and design of optical components and systems
• Adapting and optimizing existing optical designs
• Performing simulations and analyses of optical systems
• Analyzing and evaluating customer requirements or customer designs for proposals and studies
• Contributing to the creation of technical specifications, drawings, and documentation
• Close collaboration and coordination with interdisciplinary project teams as well as customers and suppliers

Your Profile

• Successfully completed degree in physics or engineering with a focus on optics
• Expertise in imaging and aberration theory as well as wave optics
• Experience with optical simulation software (e.g., Zemax/OpticStudio, FRED) and programming skills (e.g., Python)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
