(Junior) Product Manager Medical Devices (m/w/x)

As Interim (Junior) Product Manager (m/f/d), you will assume responsibility for one of our products and actively shape their future in the field of refractive laser business. With strategic thinking, market knowledge, and close collaboration with internal and external partners, you will ensure continuity of a well-established product and drive the further success of our solutions.

Responsibilities

• Shape and implement the product strategy for one of our established refractive laser products, in close collaboration with a second Product Manager
• Align with Lifecycle Management, Production and further internal stakeholders to ensure the global manufacturability and availability of the product
• Collaborate daily with R&D, RA/CA, Workflow Management and other departments on current and upcoming product releases
• Contribute to the product launch process in cooperation with Strategic Marketing, Learning Management, Sales, and other departments
• Conduct market analyses, evaluate data and present results to derive concrete measures and recommendations for product success
• Drive the creation and regular update of business plans and manage the strategic forecast of the installed base
• Communicate with sales, customers, key opinion leaders, and industry partners, and participate in trade fairs and events
• Monitor KPIs and sales figures, derive and implement corrective actions

Profile

• Completed degree in Healthcare or International Management, Economics/Business Administration, Medical Technology, Optometry, or related fields
• Initial experience in product management, marketing, sales or business management is an advantage, preferably in a medical technology company with hard- and software products
• Entrepreneurial mindset and way of working, paired with strong team spirit
• Excellent presentation and communication skills as well as strong coordination abilities
• Strong analytical, strategic, and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel
• Business fluency in German and English
