Junior Purchasing Manager (m/f/d) – Eltville am Rhein, on site

Experience in the hospitality, FF&E, furniture, or commercial kitchen equipment industries is advantageous, as it will help you quickly understand our products, suppliers, and market environment. Initial experience working with international suppliers or on sourcing projects is also a strong plus.

Your Responsibilities

• You handle operational purchasing – creating orders, tracking confirmations, following up on delivery dates, and resolving discrepancies in close coordination with inside sales and logistics.
• You research and qualify new suppliers across Europe, Asia, and North America and help build our worldwide supplier network.
• You prepare RFQs, compare offers, and put together decision documents for pricing and contract negotiations.
• You contribute to negotiations and, as your experience grows, take over your own product groups and supplier relationships.
• You monitor sourcing markets and price developments for FF&E, hospitality and contract furniture, and commercial kitchen and foodservice equipment.
• You support the initial sampling of new parts, aligning specifications with engineering and product development.
• You evaluate existing suppliers on quality, delivery, and cost, and join factory visits, supplier audits, and international sourcing trips with experienced colleagues.

Your Profile

• First professional experience in inside sales, order processing, logistics, or purchasing – ideally in a technical or manufacturing environment
• Interest in international supplier markets, manufacturing processes, and cost structures, with the drive to build real expertise and enjoy working at the interface between customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Initial exposure to FF&E, hospitality furniture, or commercial kitchen and foodservice equipment is a plus, not a requirement – we will train you on our product world
• Confident with MS Office, particularly Excel
• Very good German and English; additional languages are an advantage
• Self-motivated, structured working style with strong communication skills and the confidence to speak with suppliers directly
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
