Junior SAP Authorization Consultant (m/f/d)

To strengthen our AMS team, we are currently looking for a Junior SAP Authorization Consultant (m/f/d) who will act as a liaison between technical and business teams.

Candidate Profile

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, coordination, and working at the intersection of business and IT. You do not need to be an SAP expert, but you should have a solid basic understanding of SAP authorization and a strong willingness to learn and grow in this area.

Daily Responsibilities

• Selecting appropriate SAP authorization roles based on employees’ business scope, in cooperation with functional consultants
• Managing SAP users and roles together with the technical team
• Obtaining authorization-related approvals from the managers of requesting employees
• Communicating with business users, IT teams, and consultants to ensure smooth authorization processes

Skills We Are Looking For

• Initial experience in SAP authorization and willingness to develop further in this area
• Understanding of the basics of SAP authorizations, including the difference between composite roles, single roles, and similar concepts
• Fluent German (C2) and good English skills (C1)
• Ability to translate business requirements into IT language and explain IT topics to business users
• Openness to working with people and frequent communication via Microsoft Teams and chat
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Cologne, approximately 2–3 days per month
• Openness to various types of tasks, including working in SAP, Excel, meetings, communication with stakeholders, and coordination activities
