Key Account Manager – DACH & Eastern Europe

Key Account Manager

We are recruiting for our client as part of their business development, a international Key account Manager.

Based in Berlin, you will take full ownership of the P&L and drive profitable growth across Switzerland and potentially Germany, Austria, and Eastern Europe, depending on your language skills and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for your markets, focusing on both retail and e‑commerce channels.
  • Manage and grow existing key accounts while identifying and developing new strategic customers.
  • Negotiate framework and annual agreements with retail chains (DIY, grocery, lifestyle).
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, logistics, finance, product management) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor performance against targets and take proactive actions to secure profitable growth.
  • Participate in trade fairs, client visits, and business reviews to strengthen market presence.

You’ll be part of an international, dynamic commercial team and enjoy strong internal support from specialists in product, marketing, and supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Proven Key Account Management experience in retail or related sectors.
  • A strong track record in business development and negotiation.
  • Experience managing or contributing to market P&L and pricing strategy.
  • Excellent command of English and German; additional Eastern European languages (Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Slovak) are an advantage.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint for presentations and business analysis.
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Copenhagen.
