Key Account Manager – Utility

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to support our Utility business (PV + BESS) in the DACH region.

This role will focus on managing key clients such as project developers, EPCs, and utilities , supporting RFQs, tenders, and contract negotiations , and working closely with the regional head to win new projects and expand existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop key utility clients (Developers, EPCs, Utilities)
• Support RFQs, tender submissions, and commercial proposals
• Lead or support contract negotiations (Delivery, Performance, LDs, SLAs, etc.)
• Coordinate internally with technical, legal, and finance teams
• Drive long sales cycles and close complex B2B deals
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing partnerships

We are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or above (Business, Engineering, or related)
• 4–7 years of experience in B2B sales / Key Account Management , ideally in energy or utility sector
• Strong understanding of energy systems (PV, BESS, grid infrastructure, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of contract structures and basic contract law
• Familiar with German/EU energy regulations and tender processes
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate customer needs into solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proactive, structured, and result-driven
• Strong cross-functional collaboration ability

  Language

  • German: Native / Fluent
  • English: Business level (B2/C1)

  Nice to Have

  • Experience with public or semi-public tenders
  • Familiar with CRM / ERP systems
  • Driving license (Class B)
