About this role
As Key Account Manager LH & Core Brands – Vendor Logistics Strategy & Operations, you will own and manage Lieferando’s most strategic and high-impact logistics local hero and core brands partners across Germany. These partners play a critical role in delivering high service quality at scale and driving long-term growth of our logistics network.
In this role, you will act as the single point of contact and full owner for your assigned key accounts — covering logistics performance, operations, and commercial topics end-to-end. You will ensure excellent service levels, strong operational execution, and sustainable partner development.
You will work closely with internal teams including Account Management, Finance, Product & Tech, Customer Service, and Legal, while being supported by specialized teams (e.g. Network & Pricing, Business Planning & Analysis, Compliance). This is a highly visible role with direct impact on Lieferando’s logistics performance and strategic vendor landscape.

Key Account Ownership & Relationship Management
- Act as single point of contact for local hero and core brands partners
- Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships on partner side
- Lead escalations and ensure alignment across all operational topics
Performance & Operational Ownership
- Monitor KPIs and drive continuous performance improvements with partners
- Identify operational gaps and implement structured action plans
- Ensure high service quality and operational excellence across regions
Strategic & Operational Development
- Identify and support growth opportunities (expansion, scaling, new cities/zones)
- Optimize cost structures and operational efficiency in collaboration with internal teams
- Contribute to operational partner development and portfolio steering
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
- Collaborate with internal teams (Account Management, Finance, Product & Tech, Customer Service, Legal)
- Align with Business Planning teams on forecasting and capacity planning inputs
- Coordinate with Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence and contract alignment
Reporting & Governance
- Track and report performance, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders
- Maintain structured documentation of performance and action plans
- Ensure data accuracy and transparency across all relevant KPIs
What will you bring to the table?
- Strong professional experience in key account management, logistics, vendor management, or operations
- Proven ability to manage large, complex partners and senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPIs, performance management, and data-driven decision-making
- Experience in strategic partnership development
- Ability to take full ownership and accountability for business outcomes
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
- Experience in fast-paced environments such as delivery, e-commerce, logistics, or mobility
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex operational topics
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany
- Fluent in German and English
