Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Kinaxis Solution Architect to support the design and delivery of scalable supply chain planning solutions. The role sits between hands-on solution delivery and broader architecture leadership, with responsibility for translating business requirements into effective Kinaxis Maestro designs, guiding delivery teams, and ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture and programme objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable Kinaxis Maestro solutions across relevant planning modules, integrations, data structures, and enterprise systems.
  • Lead or support solution design workshops, architecture reviews, and technical discussions with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Translate business and supply chain requirements into clear functional and technical solution designs.
  • Define solution principles, integration approaches, data requirements, and non-functional considerations such as performance, security, and scalability.
  • Provide architectural guidance throughout implementation, including configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies, and design gaps, working with project teams to agree practical mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with programme managers, solution consultants, developers, integration teams, and third-party vendors to maintain design consistency.
  • Review solution deliverables and provide quality assurance against agreed architecture standards and best practices.
  • Support the creation of reusable assets, templates, design standards, and delivery accelerators.
  • Coach and support less-experienced consultants, while escalating complex or strategic architecture decisions where appropriate.
  • Contribute to estimates, proposals, solution demonstrations, and client discussions when required.

Required Experience:

  • Strong experience delivering Kinaxis Rapid Response or Kinaxis Maestro solutions within complex supply chain environments.
  • Experience taking ownership of solution design across one or more Kinaxis implementations or major programme workstreams.
  • Good understanding of supply chain planning processes, such as demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, capacity planning, S&OP or IBP, and order fulfilment.
  • Solid knowledge of enterprise integration, data modelling, system interfaces, and solution scalability.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops, challenge requirements constructively, and communicate technical concepts to both business and IT audiences.
  • Experience working across the full implementation lifecycle, from discovery and design through build, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Kinaxis Solution Architect certification, ideally Level 1 and Author level 3
  • Experience with cloud-based enterprise applications, hybrid landscapes, or large-scale transformation programmes.
  • Knowledge of ERP and wider supply chain platforms, particularly SAP or comparable enterprise systems.
  • Experience developing reusable architecture assets, delivery standards, or technical accelerators.
  • Exposure to technical governance forums, design authorities, or steering committees.
  • Additional European language skills are advantageous but not essential.
