German speaking is required for this position.

A specialist product engineering business in Munich is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to build applications on top of the Atlassian ecosystem.

They work closely with clients to design and deliver software that gets used day to day by real business teams, not side-project tooling that never lands.

The work is hands-on, client-facing, and practical. You’ll be building modern applications, solving workflow problems, and helping shape reliable production systems.

It’s a good role for someone who enjoys owning work end to end, wants to go deep on the Atlassian platform, and is comfortable operating directly with customers.

Role

Hands-on Full Stack Engineer focused on building production applications with Kotlin and TypeScript, while growing into a true Atlassian specialist.

Responsibilities

• Build modern applications across the full stack using Kotlin and TypeScript
• Develop solutions on top of Atlassian tools using Forge, Ktor, and the Atlassian Plugin SDK
• Work directly with clients to understand requirements and turn them into practical products
• Take ownership of features from design through to deployment and ongoing improvement
• Help run and maintain reliable production systems across Linux and AWS
• Ship in a continuous delivery environment with a strong focus on quality and reliability

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with solid full stack experience
• Commercial experience with Kotlin
• Comfortable working across frontend and backend without wanting to be boxed into one side
• Happy to be client-facing and work closely with users and stakeholders
• Interested in learning the Atlassian ecosystem in depth
• Self-directed, accountable, and comfortable working remotely

Requirements / constraints

• Remote-first, with occasional client visits and time in Munich
• Must be comfortable in a customer-facing environment
