YOUR IMPACT

As a dedicated mechatronics specialist or mechanical engineering technician , you will be a central part of our lab team. You will help turn early mechanical and electromechanical concepts into functional prototypes. Working closely with both engineering and workshop teams, you will develop fixtures, test setups, and scalable assembly processes.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on person who takes pride in precision, works independently, and enjoys collaborating with world‑class engineers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build and test mechanical and electromechanical prototypes based on early‑stage design concepts.
• Carry out rapid prototyping and mechanical assembly trials.
• Optimize and maintain workshop processes, tools, inventory, and calibration.
• Operate key workshop equipment such as milling machines, lathes, and test stands.
• Work closely with engineers to improve prototypes and prepare them for production.
• Perform incoming goods inspections, maintain PPE and tools, and ensure safe working practices.
• Maintain a clean, structured, and efficient lab and workshop environment.

WHO YOU ARE

• Proactive, communicative, and team‑oriented — you thrive when collaborating with engineers and technicians in dynamic development environments.
• Detail‑oriented and safety‑conscious — with high standards for quality, precision, and safe working practices.
• Adaptable and flexible — you perform well in fast‑moving, evolving technical environments with a high degree of ownership.
• Excellent German and English language skills.
• Strong technical background, such as vocational training or a technical college/university degree, with experience in machining, wiring, assembly, and test stand technology.
