About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Android Engineer to join our dynamic team in Munich on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Lead Android Engineer at RxREVU, Inc., you will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining our flagship mobile application, which plays a crucial role in our healthcare solutions. Your expertise will guide the technical direction of our Android platform, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure applications that meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients alike. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to translate complex healthcare requirements into innovative mobile solutions that deliver real-world impact.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Android development with proven experience in building large-scale, production-grade mobile applications. You should have deep knowledge of Android architecture components, design patterns, and modern development practices. Proficiency in Kotlin (preferably Kotlin 2.1) and experience with MVVM architecture using Jetpack Compose, Material3, and ViewBinding are essential. Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Koin, reactive programming with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow, and RESTful API integration is required. Additionally, you should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for engineering excellence, and the ability to mentor junior developers. Strong communication skills in English and experience working within Agile (Scrum) environments are also important. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include owning the entire lifecycle of our Android mobile banking application—from initial architecture and development to deployment and ongoing improvements. You will lead technical design discussions and make architecture decisions in collaboration with product teams, enterprise architects, and stakeholders. Ensuring the application’s scalability, security, performance, and reliability will be a key aspect of your role. You will establish and promote engineering best practices through code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing. Driving innovation by staying current with Android technologies and industry trends is essential, as is transforming these insights into tangible customer benefits. Additionally, you will oversee the delivery of new features and platform enhancements, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure the highest standards of application quality. Your leadership will foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the team.
