Lead Capital Project Manager (m/f/d)

Lead end-to-end capital project delivery across the site, coordinating the portfolio from concept to handover. You’ll partner with operations, engineering and finance to align projects with business priorities, manage scope, schedule, budget, and risks, and drive cross-functional teams and external partners. You’ll ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance while seeking performance improvements and value realization. This role offers broad exposure to diverse technologies and global stakeholders, providing a meaningful impact on growth and operational excellence.

• Lead end-to-end execution of capital projects ($5M–$50M) from concept through commissioning and handover
• Coordinate the site capital portfolio and align objectives with business priorities
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and resources for successful delivery
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, contractors, suppliers, and external engineering partners
• Drive engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities
• Ensure EH&S, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the lifecycle
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, mitigate risks, and maximize investment value
• Promote continuous improvement by sharing best practices across projects

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering or Food/Process Engineering
• Extensive experience managing capital projects in manufacturing, industrial, chemical, food or related environments
• Proven success delivering large-scale capital projects with focus on cost, schedule, safety and quality
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and stage-gate processes
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
