Overview / Role Summary

Our client is at an exciting juncture of growth and is seeking a Lead Consultant specialized in Dynamics 365 Business Central to join their innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead Business Central implementation projects, collaborating closely with clients and the delivery team from the discovery phase right through to post go‑live support. Your expertise will be crucial in orchestrating effective solutions that drive business optimization and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the functional delivery of Dynamics 365 Business Central, serving as the primary point of contact for all functional queries.
• Design end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions and translate business requirements into a comprehensive solution blueprint.
• Lead solution build activities including configuration, data migration, quality assurance, training, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Facilitate integration efforts with third‑party systems, collaborating with developers and solution architects.
• Ensure business readiness for go‑live, manage cut‑over planning, and provide post‑go‑live hyper‑care and transition to support.
• Coordinate project activities with developers, consultants, and project managers to manage scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Mentor junior consultants, fostering their development and skill enhancement.
• Stay current with new features and functionalities within the Dynamics 365 Business Central platform and associated ISV applications, ensuring alignment with best practices and Microsoft’s roadmap.
• Contribute to internal practice development and manage project activity planning, including effort estimation.
• Maintain up‑to‑date certifications in Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Required Experience & Skills

• Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Business Central functional consultant.
• Thorough understanding of Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV, covering essential areas such as finance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales, purchase order processing, inventory, and warehouse management.
• Required knowledge of Continia, Tasklet, and other notable Dynamics 365 Business Central applications.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI applications for Dynamics 365, along with integration expertise in M365 and Power Apps.
• Mandatory familiarity with Shopify, Dynamics 365 Sales, and Dynamics 365 Field Service in conjunction with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong consulting skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Leadership skills with a proven track record of influencing and facilitating discussions.
• Certification or Master’s degree in relevant fields.

Desirable / Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience in project management, manufacturing, and service management.
• Additional advantageous certifications related to Power BI, Microsoft 365, or other relevant technologies.
