Lead Data Platform Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a Lead Data Platform Engineer to join our Data Platform team within the Data & IT Platforms unit in Espoo. The role involves developing and deploying solutions that support operational excellence, performance, and cost efficiency, ensuring systems are scalable, high-quality, and cost-effective. The candidate will act as the primary technical contact for internal and external teams, collaborate with architects, define patterns for data ingestion and transformation, and promote DevOps culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy solutions that support operational excellence, performance, and cost efficiency; ensure systems are scalable, high-quality, and cost-effective.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong SQL skills; experience with data modeling, Snowflake & Azure, CI/CD, Python, Azure services, and cloud automation tools.
• Fluency in English.
