Lead Full-Stack Engineer (AI-Assisted Development)

We are seeking an experienced technical leader who combines strong full-stack engineering expertise with proven leadership in building and delivering modern IT products and applications. This role is ideal for someone who has not only written production‑grade code but has also owned delivery processes, guided developers, and shipped complex solutions enhanced by AI‑assisted development tools.

Contract Type: Independent Contractor Agreement

What You’ll Do

Lead a team of senior full-stack developers and coordinate technical execution across projects

Build scalable full-stack features using Next.js, React, TypeScript, Prisma, and PostgreSQL

Use Cursor IDE and AI coding assistants to accelerate development workflows and productivity

Architect systems, design database schemas and optimize performance‑critical queries

Integrate and manage third‑party APIs (e.g., Stripe, Supabase, music platforms, SaaS services)

Develop advanced admin dashboards, internal tools, and complex user interfaces

Own projects end‑to‑end — from requirements and architecture to deployment and optimization

Establish best practices for code quality, testing, documentation, and deployment pipelines

Mentor developers, review code, and drive engineering excellence across the team

Requirements

Proven track record of playing a key role in building and shipping IT products or applications

Demonstrated experience leading developers and managing development processes

Strong hands‑on expertise across modern full‑stack technologies and cloud architectures

Deep understanding of database design, performance optimization, and scalability

Experience integrating external APIs and third‑party platforms into production systems

Comfortable working in remote, distributed teams with async collaboration

Strong problem‑solving mindset, ownership mentality, and product‑focused thinking
