Lead Human Pharma Public & Government Affairs

In this role you shape and deliver integrated public and government campaigns to influence policy in obesity and metabolic health. You’ll build alliances, map stakeholders, and prepare strategic policy positions for global and country teams. Working in a cross-functional matrix, you’ll drive policy outcomes across the EU5, US, China, and Japan. You will be a trusted advisor on international health policy and support capability-building within the HP Public & Government Affairs function.

• Develop and implement integrated advocacy campaigns for obesity and metabolic health
• Map policy stakeholders and shape strategic policy positions
• Support evidence generation to enable engagement by global and country teams
• Coach country teams in strategic and tactical policy planning with measurable outcomes
• Serve as main contact for Therapeutic Areas and partners, providing strategic counsel
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Communications, Market Access, Medical, Marketing, Legal and Compliance
• Coordinate alliances for awareness and policy prioritization
• Ensure delivery aligned with Legal and Compliance requirements in pharma

• Several years in Public & Government Affairs, in-house, consultancy, or government
• Deep understanding of national and global healthcare policymaking and pharma industry role
• Ability to operate in a global, matrixed organization without direct management responsibility
• Experience delivering integrated campaigns to drive policy change
• Extensive external networking to influence policy
• Co-creative policy leadership with trust-building across the business
• Experience delivering compliant policy work under pharma regulations
• Excellent English communication and negotiation skills (additional languages a plus)
