Your Tasks

You design, implement, and maintain on-premise IT infrastructure including compute, storage, and networking
You perform capacity planning and develop and execute backup and disaster recovery strategies
You maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation
You manage and monitor on-premise IT facilities including servers, cooling, power, and hardware
You design and provision storage as well as compute and GPU infrastructure for high-performance workloads such as ML and AI
You design and implement WAN, LAN, and WiFi network architectures with proper segmentation and security controls including firewalls and IDS/IPS
You configure and manage enterprise networking equipment such as switches, routers, and load balancers
You deploy and manage Linux server infrastructure
You configure and deploy employee workstations across Linux, macOS, and Windows environments and manage IT equipment procurement
You provide technical troubleshooting and support and manage user accounts with SSO
You establish and manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with service providers such as ISPs and colocation partners

Your Profile

You have a proven track record in building or transforming IT infrastructure
You bring deep expertise in enterprise networking including WAN and LAN, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs
You have strong hands-on experience with server hardware assembly, configuration, and maintenance
You have expert knowledge of storage systems including RAID, SAN, NAS as well as backup and recovery solutions
You have experience with Linux server administration and troubleshooting
You have a solid understanding of data center operations including power, cooling, and physical security
You have hands-on experience provisioning and managing GPU infrastructure
You have scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation
You have experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
You demonstrate strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex hardware and network issues
You have excellent documentation and communication skills
You are self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
