Lead / Principal Consultant - Data and AI

As a Lead / Principal Consultant - Data and AI, you drive AI-augmented delivery of Celonis solutions for enterprise customers. You guide AI agents to build data models, analyses, and dashboards while applying your judgment to ensure business relevance. You translate customer needs into concrete technical specs and orchestrate value delivery from discovery to adoption and ongoing success. You work with cross-functional teams to shape scalable, robust solutions that deliver measurable impact within the Celonis platform.

• Lead hands-on implementation of Celonis solutions for enterprise customers
• Direct AI deployment agents to build data models, KPIs, and dashboards, validating outputs against business requirements
• Configure Celonis platform components (Process Intelligence Graph, data transformations, process analysis, operational solutions, AI insights)
• Identify inefficiencies and root causes using Celonis technology with customer collaboration
• Validate AI outputs for accuracy and relevance, applying domain knowledge as needed
• Lead value creation workshops and define KPIs to measure impact
• Design and build operational solutions to drive value, adoption, and conformance
• Enable customer users to operate and extend solutions independently
• Manage project outcomes against timelines and expectations
• Train customers and document design decisions for handoff
• Develop domain expertise in process areas and translate into scalable reference patterns
• Standardize high-value use cases and contribute to platform roadmap

• 7+ years in management or IT/solution/process improvement consulting
• Ability to build and configure Celonis solutions including data modeling, KPI definition, and automation
• Proficiency in PQL, SQL, and Python
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) and prompt/context engineering is a plus
• Strong business and process domain expertise with ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle) and core processes (Inventory Management, O2C, P2P, AP)
• Consulting skills to run workshops, manage stakeholders, and deliver outcomes under ambiguity
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate requirements into technical solutions and quantify impact
• Learning agility and comfort with evolving tools and ambiguity
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Technology Management, Business Informatics, CS, Engineering, or related field
• English and German fluency
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
