Lead System Engineer (d/f/m)

As Lead System Engineer, you will guide a multidisciplinary team across sites to decompose complex systems, derive requirements, and drive testing and planning. You report to the Chief Engineer, balancing technical leadership with agile delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes. You’ll work within the Airbus Defence and Space ecosystem, tackling cross-domain challenges from satellite tech to secure cloud architecture. • Lead technical teams across multiple sites
• Oversee system breakdown into subsystems and components

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years in systems engineering, defense or automotive industries
• Proven experience in system breakdown, requirements engineering, and testing
• Experience leading technical teams and managing multi-site projects
• Knowledge of agile methods; Scrum/SAFe beneficial
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation
• Effective communication for reporting and stakeholder engagement
