Leading Scientist Analytical Characterization (d/f/m)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project activities in analytical characterization, including method development, optimization, validation, and transfer of analytical assays for the API.
• Represent the function in technical teams (e.g., global CMC team) and design, plan, and support scientific experiments.
• Contribute to budget and resource forecasting, set goals, conduct performance evaluations, and support development planning for team members.
• Review and approve analytical results, ensuring data integrity and drawing conclusions in relevant context.
• Author development reports, study protocols, laboratory procedures, and project‑related SOPs; write scientific documents for key collaborators and health authorities.
• Coordinate and compile high‑quality analytical registration documents for health authority submissions; write publications and patents; act as a technical expert in audits and inspections.
• Interact with health authorities as needed.

Essential Requirements

• Technical expertise with a PhD and 3years of relevant experience, or a Master of Science and 6years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
• Expert knowledge in structural characterization of biopharmaceutical products and strong laboratory and technical skills in protein, antibody, chromatography, electrophoresis, mass spectrometry, biophysical methods, and data evaluation.
• Thorough understanding of development activities and processes in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge and experience with relevant regulatory guidelines and regulatory expectations (FDA, EMA).
• Proficient scientific and technical writing skills for compiling analytical reports and submission documents in English.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
