Role Overview

The Principal Process Intelligence & Supply Chain Transformation Consultant (Internal Title: Principal Value Engineer) is a trusted advisor helping customers achieve strategic goals and realize substantial value using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. This role has full responsibility for the end‑to‑end value journey of our customers – landing, expanding, adopting and renewing. Your responsibilities include translating customer objectives into value assessments or proof‑of‑value projects, building specific business cases and demos, running value workshops, and engaging with senior stakeholders to deliver value‑driven results and secure long‑term partnership agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify & Frame Value: Discover and translate customers’ strategic priorities into high‑impact Celonis use cases; build demos and business cases leveraging industry benchmarks and best practices; undertake value assessments or proof‑of‑value projects and communicate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C‑Level executives.
• Realize Value: Facilitate business‑value workshops and use Celonis to identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement; derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate improvement actions and enterprise‑wide change initiatives; present results and realized value to senior management and C‑level executives.
• Scale Value: Lead the end‑to‑end customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adopting and renewing; build a strategic expansion roadmap that embeds Celonis Process Intelligence as a transformation platform in customers’ organizations; provide feedback to product development teams to enhance the platform based on new use cases.

Required Qualifications

• Native‑level German proficiency – required for leading customer workshops, executive presentations, and stakeholder interactions in German.
• Experience in an analytical role focused on demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, business process improvement, and related software deployment, preferably in a customer‑facing role such as Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT/Management Consulting.
• Good knowledge of Business Software / SaaS applications (e.g., SAP) and experience implementing RPA, BI tools, dashboards, apps, and action flows; knowledge of Python and/or SQL; experience collaborating with IT teams.
• Proven track record in identifying use cases for process improvement, deploying improvement measures, and driving change as a facilitator and trainer.
• Strong project‑management skills, including planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines across multiple accounts and stages of the value journey.
• Excellent executive‑stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with experience preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management.
• Understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain domains and strategic transformation initiatives (e.g., Shared Services Transformation, System Transformation).
• Industry expertise in manufacturing, automotive, consumer, retail, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or related sectors, with a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities.
• Degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable field.
