Lean Manager I (m/f/d)

Overview

In this role you will drive Lean manufacturing and Lean office initiatives to cut waste and boost efficiency. You will plan, implement, and track transformation roadmaps while collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed standardized work and continuous improvement. You’ll lead Kaizen workshops, coach teams, and perform root cause analyses to elevate quality and process performance. This position offers global collaboration within a longstanding electrical solutions provider and the chance to shape operations across production and administration. You will work with SAP and other tools to deliver measurable impact and support a culture of continuous improvement.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Establish and develop Lean manufacturing and Lean Office activities across production and administration
  • Implement Lean principles to eliminate waste and improve efficiency
  • Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Train and coach employees on Lean tools and best practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive improvement initiatives
  • Track and report effectiveness of Lean initiatives and adjust as needed
  • Facilitate Kaizen workshops to foster continuous improvement culture
  • Develop and maintain standard work instructions
  • Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions
  • Support quality control systems and procedures
  • Coordinate global collaboration with international nVent teams
  • Lead and support the local Lean team to meet targets and improve processes
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Five+ years in a Lean / Continuous Improvement role
  • Strong knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies (Kaizen, MDI, 5S, VSM, Root Cause Solving, Standard Work)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Meticulous, structured, and independent working style
  • Adaptability and ability to guide colleagues
  • Very good knowledge of SAP and Microsoft tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication; team-oriented
  • High independence, initiative, assertiveness, flexibility, and resilience
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
