Lecturer Computer Science IT Law (m/f/d)

IU International University, Germany’s largest university, invites an experienced academic to join as a freelance lecturer in Berlin starting . This position comprises 48 teaching units and offers the opportunity to shape the future of teaching in a supportive, flexible environment.

Your tasks

• Teach fundamental knowledge with high practical relevance—for example, legal systems, domain law, contracts, and privacy—and are responsible for correcting exams.
• Design courses using high‑quality teaching materials you create based on the coursebook.
• Conduct practical teaching sessions and tutorials on‑site, promoting an active and interactive learning process.
• Support students in combining theory and practice and contribute to their personal and professional development.

Your Profile

• Successfully completed a university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Have practical work experience in the relevant subject area.
• Ideally have initial experience as a tutor, teacher, lecturer, or research assistant in academic teaching.
• Have a strong interest in innovative, digital, and modern education and enjoy working with students.
• Have English language skills at the C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
