Legal Consultant - Global Investment Management Firm

We are currently seeking a private / investment funds lawyer to join our team and provide longer‑term support to our Fortune 500 clients in the asset management sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment funds, with experience advising on the formation and structuring of investment funds.

Responsibilities

• Advise on the structuring, formation, and ongoing maintenance of private investment funds and related vehicles.
• Draft, review, and negotiate fund documentation and key investor, service provider, and financing agreements in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Support the launch of new products and strategies, providing risk‑focused guidance on applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Provide support on legal matters relating to public funds, as required.

Requirements

• Circa 6-10 years’ PQE with a strong background in investment management, funds, or broader financial services work, ideally gained at a leading law firm or financial institution; experience providing legal support on private funds is essential.
• Proven track record of leading complex matters independently and engaging confidently with business stakeholders while exercising sound, commercial judgment.
• Chinese speaking skills would be an asset but not essential
