Overview

As Legal Counsel, you will deliver pragmatic, commercially minded legal guidance to drive business decisions. You will partner with stakeholders to manage risk, negotiate commercial agreements, and embed legal considerations into transactions. You will handle regulatory, compliance, and contract matters while shaping processes to improve risk management. This role sits at the heart of an international business, offering broad exposure and opportunities to become a trusted in-house partner.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Provide practical legal advice on day-to-day regulatory, contractual, and compliance matters
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements and related documents
Identify legal risks with internal clients and propose pragmatic mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies across business areas
Monitor developments in law and implement appropriate processes and policies
Oversee risk assessment and advise on risk mitigation approaches
Deliver clear, business-oriented guidance to non-legal stakeholders
Improve legal and contract management processes and risk management frameworks
Coordinate with external counsel for disputes and maintain budget oversight
Build cross-functional partnerships and act as trusted legal advisor to the business

Zentrale Anforderungen

Fully qualified lawyer (German Volljurist) admitted to practice in Germany or another relevant European jurisdiction
2-5 years PQE in law firm or in-house
Excellent written and verbal communication in German and English
Experience with legal technology, contract management systems, and AI-enabled tools (desired)
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
