Overview

In this role you act as a trusted legal partner to Helsing’s business teams, shaping and closing complex, multi‑jurisdictional deals in defence technology. You will translate legal risk into actionable guidance for sales, partnerships and product teams while helping build scalable contract operations and contribute to an AI‑powered legal platform. You’ll work at the intersection of law, technology and government procurement to enable Helsing’s mission with clarity and pragmatism.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts (sales, supplier, software licensing, SaaS, framework, NDAs, teaming agreements, MoUs) with government and defence customers
Advise stakeholders on contractual risk, IP, data protection, regulatory questions and export control implications
Support deal structuring in multi‑jurisdictional and government procurement contexts across Finance, Export Control and Product teams
Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks and standard terms for scalable contracting
Contribute to the development of an AI‑powered legal operating system and improve in‑house legal processes

Zentrale Anforderungen

Hold a law degree and proven track record drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts
Post‑qualified experience in commercial law (ideally with law firm and in‑house exposure)
Clear communication translating legal risk into practical guidance for non‑legal stakeholders
Solid commercial judgment for navigating multi‑jurisdictional matters with minimal supervision
Professional fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
