Linux Infrastructure Security Expert (m/f/d)

In this role, you will strengthen and secure Advantest’s internal service landscape, focusing on Kubernetes, virtualization, and automation. You’ll design and operate scalable infrastructure for web and backend apps used by engineers worldwide. You will pursue security-first improvements, evaluate new technologies, and collaborate with cross‑regional teams to shape a resilient platform that powers R&D. This is a hands-on opportunity to influence how we build and operate at scale in a global, tech-driven environment.

• Own and harden internal service landscape (Kubernetes, virtualization, Ansible) with security as a core principle
• Drive iterative improvements to Kubernetes cluster infrastructure for R&D applications at scale
• Architect, build, and operate infrastructure for web and backend applications used by engineers worldwide
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and assess their impact for the business
• Collaborate with engineers across Germany, the US, China, and Japan across time zones

• Deep Linux expertise (kernel tuning and debugging)
• Solid hands-on experience configuring and securing Kubernetes clusters in production
• Track record designing and maintaining complex, secure service infrastructures
• Programming fluency in Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript or similar
• Real-world experience with public clouds (AWS or Azure)
