Logistics Finance Analyst - EDC Controller (f/m/d)

Drive the financial controlling of the Europe Distribution Center (EDC) operations for Siemens Healthineers Diagnostics.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Drive the financial controlling of the Europe Distribution Center (EDC) operations for Siemens Healthineers Diagnostics, including distribution, warehousing, and finished goods inventory.
  • Develop, coordinate and integrate financial planning, reporting and analysis for all EDC activities.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial reporting, including controls and reconciliation, and identify operational and financial risks and opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insight related to EDC to the various finance and operational stakeholders in the Logistics and Finance functions, as well as the Diagnostics Business Lines.
  • Partner with the EDC logistics teams to drive various improvement projects for the global distribution network.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Completed studies in business administration ideally with a focus on finance.
  • Long years of relevant experience in financial analysis in a supply chain function combined with data analytics.
  • Very good understanding of financial planning processes and KPIs, as well as their connection to operational processes and parameters.
  • Excellent analytical skills, and experience in supporting and driving a business forward through financial analysis, executive communication and project management.
  • Experience with the medical device industry and supply chain is strongly preferred.

Your attributes and skills:

  • Business fluent in English; German language skills is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of financial planning and analysis tools, including Jedox, SAP and other financial reporting systems.
  • Thrives working in a team setting and has excellent abilities to coordinate and collaborate to deliver results as a team.
  • Willing to travel up to 10%.

Work flexibility:

  • Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
  • Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
