Maintenance Fitter – Focus on Building Technology (m/w/d)

The maintenance fitter – focus on building technology (m/f/d) is responsible for the maintenance, care and modernization of the entire building technology. This includes mechanical work as well as activities in the areas of electrical, plumbing/installation and painting. The aim is to ensure that all buildings, technical systems and infrastructural facilities are in perfect condition.

Your responsibilities

Carrying out repair, maintenance and servicing work on buildings and technical facilities
General work in building technology: mechanics, minor electrical work, plumbing and painting
Installation, repair and replacement of cables, fittings, switches, sockets and lighting fixtures (according to qualification)
Repair and renovation work: filling, painting, minor drywall and surface work
Inspection, maintenance and repair of doors, gates, windows, locks and locking systems
Assistance in the inspection of fire protection and safety systems
Carrying out functional tests and ensuring system availability
Documentation of all work as well as support with maintenance plans and technical tests
Close cooperation with external specialist companies and coordination of smaller trades

Your profile

Completed technical vocational training, e.g., as a fitter, plant mechanic, electrician, heating/plumbing installer or comparable qualification
Broad technical skills and experience in several trades (mechanics, electrical, plumbing, painting)
Knowledge in the field of building technology and infrastructural maintenance
Safe handling of tools and technical equipment
Reliable, independent and solution-oriented way of working
Understanding of safety and building standards
Ability to work in a team and friendly demeanor towards colleagues and external service providers
