Major Incident Manager (f/m/d)

In this role you drive automation and reliability across Sonar’s production systems, spanning on-prem and cloud. You’ll enhance observability, secure the software delivery lifecycle, and cut manual toil through IaC, policy as code, and automated incident response. You’ll work with a global team to scale tooling and services across multiple offices, shaping how Sonar delivers secure, reliable software at speed.

• System health monitoring, alert triage, and error-budget management to meet SLOs
• IaC and policy-as-code development to automate deployment, configuration, and security hardening
• Toil elimination by automating repetitive operational tasks
• Security tooling maintenance within CI/CD pipelines and robust observability (logging, metrics, tracing)
• Incident response engineering and post-mortem-driven improvements to reduce MTTR

• Deep IaC expertise with Terraform or CloudFormation (AWS) or configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet)
• Hands-on cloud/platform experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience defining and measuring SLIs/SLOs
• Experience with modern observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, Splunk)
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls)
• Automation of security controls (vulnerability scanning, config hardening, secret management)
• IAM experience with least-privilege policies and SSO
• Incident management and post-mortem practices
