Role Overview

We are seeking a Manager Field Service Coordination Germany (m/f/d) to lead and develop our Service Coordination team. This role is offered as a 24-month fixed-term leadership opportunity , providing the chance to take full ownership of a key function within our service organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient planning, coordination, and execution of service activities from initial customer request through to completion and invoicing.

You will play a key role in driving operational performance, managing resources, and ensuring high service quality while acting as a central interface between customers, field service teams, and internal functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Service Coordination team, ensuring efficient planning and execution of service activities
  • Oversee resource planning, workload balancing, and operational coordination of Field Service missions
  • Drive performance management, development, and coaching of team members
  • Ensure high service quality, timely response to customer requests, and proper documentation
  • Act as escalation point for service-related issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Represent Service Coordination in customer interactions and operational meetings
  • Act as key interface between Service Coordination and internal functions such as Dispatch, Field Service, Logistics, Purchasing, Sales, and ERP processes
  • Drive continuous improvement of service coordination processes, tools, and workflows
  • Ensure knowledge sharing, standardization, and implementation of service processes within the team
  • Monitor operational performance and ensure alignment with business targets

Key Requirements

  • Relevant technical or commercial education combined with experience in service coordination or field service operations
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally managing larger teams in a dynamic service environment
  • Strong understanding of service processes, operational planning, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience working with ERP/CRM systems and service management tools
  • Structured and solution-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Customer-oriented mindset with experience handling escalations and operational service topics
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across functions
  • Fluent in English; German is an advantage
