Manager Industry Segment

We are looking for a highly motivated and strategic professional to define and drive the marketing and go-to-market strategy for assigned industries and product lines, accelerating market penetration and delivering sustainable, profitable growth across regions.

In this role, you will act as the central interface between Market, Product, Commercial functions and the Marketing team, translating customer and market insights into compelling value propositions, business opportunities, commercial strategies, and effective market execution.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Industry & Product Go-to-Market Strategy

• Define and execute the global go-to-market strategy for assigned industries and product lines, ensuring clear positioning, differentiation, and compelling customer value propositions.
• Act as the industry lead by identifying market needs, application trends, and growth opportunities to shape portfolio priorities and commercial strategies.
• Develop business cases and growth models for strategic product lines and industry segments to support portfolio development and investment decisions.
• Own portfolio positioning, messaging, and lifecycle management, ensuring consistency across regions and channels.
• Lead new product launches in close collaboration with R&D, Operations, Sales, and Marketing, ensuring commercial readiness through effective sales tools, training, and communication.
• Lead ongoing market, customer, application, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, portfolio gaps, emerging trends, and customer needs.
• Monitor competitor offerings, positioning, pricing approaches, and go-to-market activities.
• Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for Product Management, R&D, Operations, MIS, Sales, and Marketing to support business growth and portfolio development.
• Support strategic planning by identifying future industry developments, market dynamics, and investment opportunities.
• Own the development of industry-specific marketing packages, sales tools, customer value propositions, and lead-generation initiatives.
• Coordinate and deliver product, application, and industry training programs to commercial teams, ensuring consistent messaging and effective customer engagement.
• Drive focus on strategic customers, including Global Accounts and International Key Accounts, ensuring industry priorities are reflected in account plans and business development activities.

Education and experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, Product Management, or a similar commercial role within a B2B industrial environment.
• Preferred industry experience in Packaging Machinery, Food Processing Equipment, Industrial Automation, Material Handling Systems, or Intralogistics.
• Technical background preferred (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent).
• Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using market intelligence tools, Power BI, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills in English.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach in a fast-paced international environment.
