For one of our clients, we are looking for a Strategic Indirect Procurement Manager in Hamburg.

Under the roof of Kloepfel Group , specialised companies are forming for cost reduction and process optimisation in medium-size enterprises. The group meets all needs, from process and cost optimisation, through digitalisation, outsourcing, product cost calculation, supplier management and global sourcing, qualification, right up to recruitment and interim management.

In total, the group employs more than 300 subject‑matter specialists at 12 locations, including 5 in the DACH region. We have been part of the international EPSA Group since 2021.

What lies ahead for you?

• Development and implementation of strategies for indirect procurement (e.g. IT, marketing, facility management, services, energy, insurance)
• Analysing procurement markets and identifying potential savings
• Management and execution of tenders and contract negotiations
• Building and maintaining long‑term supplier relationships
• Introduction and optimisation of purchasing processes and tools
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders at group level.
• Monitoring relevant KPIs and reporting to management

What should you bring?

• Successfully completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement, ideally in indirect procurement.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Analytical thinking skills as well as a structured and independent way of working
• Experience in using ERP systems and modern procurement tools
• Excellent knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
