As our Head of Partnerships (m/f/d) , you will be the architect of our partner ecosystem. You won’t just manage a team of four Partner Managers (DACH, UKI, International) – you will be the driving force behind the optimisation and scaling of our indirect sales channels. Your mission is to generate predictable revenue growth through strategic alliances with GSIs, MSSPs, and Resellers, and to establish SoSafe as the standard solution in the portfolios of leading cybersecurity consultancies.

How you will contribute to our success:

  • Lead & Enable: You will lead, mentor, and empower a European team of Partner Managers, fostering “Channel Excellence” and the continuous development of their sales and account management skills.
  • Ecosystem Optimization: You have a sharp eye for ROI, prioritising initiatives that move the needle on ARR and retention while phasing out low‑impact activities to keep the team focused on what truly drives the business. You will ensure that framework agreements, tiering models, and incentives are perfectly aligned with our growth targets.
  • Strategic Alliances: Together with your team, you will drive the acquisition and onboarding of top‑tier strategic partners (GSIs, VARs, MSSPs, and specialised security consultancies).
  • Executive Relationships: You will support your team in building and maintaining trusted, resilient C‑level relationships with our partners.
  • Cross‑functional Collaboration: You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless lead transitions and effective co‑marketing campaigns.
  • Scale‑up Mindset: You will actively develop our partnership playbooks and best practices – you aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to improve processes operationally.
  • Lead by Example: You will personally manage selected high‑value strategic partnerships to lead by example and accelerate expansion into new markets.

What success looks like in the first 6–12 months:

  • Successful takeover and further development of the existing partnership team (4 FTEs).
  • Optimisation of the partner framework to increase partner‑sourced and partner‑influenced pipeline.
  • Ensuring high partner retention and increasing deal velocity through improved partner enablement.
  • Active contribution to the international expansion strategy through the targeted growth of the MSSP network.
  • Achieving team targets regarding ARR growth and Gross Retention (GRR).

What sets you apart:

  • Channel & SaaS Sales: At least 5 years of experience in Sales or Partnerships within the SaaS environment, ideally with a focus on complex security solutions.
  • Leadership Experience: You have at least 2 years of management experience and are passionate about coaching an international team to peak performance.
  • Builder Mentality: You love optimising structures and taking processes from “good” to “excellent” – you are proactive and solution‑oriented.
  • Growth Mindset: You are a persistent problem‑solver who stays committed to long‑term goals, demonstrating the agility to pivot strategies when a fresh perspective is needed.
  • Analytical & Structured: You have mastered pipeline management and forecasting in a partner context and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Tech Pioneer Mindset: You enjoy building for scale, looking for ways to leverage modern tools and automation to amplify the team’s impact and streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Linguistic Fluency: You communicate with full professional proficiency in German (native level) and English.
  • Bonus Points: An existing network within the cybersecurity industry in the DACH region.
