Manager PMO - Deployment (m/f/d)

As Manager PMO Deployment (m/f/d), you support the Global Deployment Organization within the Business Transformation Program. Reporting to the Lead PMO - Deployment, you establish and run PMO governance across countries, business units and sites. You create transparency, reliable planning and execution excellence across deployment waves in Bad Homburg, with travel according to the deployment schedule.

Your responsibilities:

• Establish PMO standards, templates, tools and reporting standards, and drive adherence to the global deployment methodology and stage-gate governance.

• Support Deployment Leads in integrated deployment planning, tracking milestones, dependencies, assumptions, critical-path activities and readiness progress.

• Prepare executive-level status reports and dashboards, monitoring KPIs, schedule adherence, delivery health, risks, issues, decisions and actions.

• Maintain RAID logs, facilitate risk reviews and escalation processes, and ensure mitigation actions are tracked through to completion.

• Coordinate deployment budget tracking, forecasting, resource plans and external partner reporting together with Deployment Leads and workstreams.

• Organize governance meetings, decision forums and steering committees, maintain deployment documentation and coordinate testing, data migration, cutover, training, organizational readiness, hypercare and Go/No-Go preparation.

Your qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline; PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, SAP or transformation certifications are an advantage.

• At least 7 years of experience in PMO, project management or transformation management, ideally in multinational transformation environments.

• Proven experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations, preferably SAP S/4HANA deployment programs.

• Strong understanding of deployment lifecycle, governance processes, integrated planning, schedule management, portfolio reporting, cutover and hypercare support.

• Confident user of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Power BI, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams; Jira, Azure DevOps, SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager are desirable.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation and facilitation skills, with strong organization, analytical thinking, attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
