Manager-Privacy Counsel (m/f/d)

In this role you will identify and advise on privacy, AI and data regulation topics for assigned stakeholders, ensuring privacy compliance while enabling business goals. You will deliver fit-for-purpose guidance and manage end-to-end privacy projects under the Director Global Privacy. You will coordinate impact assessments, data protection instruments, and responses to external complaints, shaping how privacy and AI risk are managed across the business. This position combines legal insight with practical risk management in a global context, offering meaningful impact on Adidas’ privacy program and regulatory posture.

• Align priorities with stakeholders based on regulatory relevance and privacy/AI risk
• Provide tailored, compliant guidance to enable business goals
• Lead Data Protection Impact Assessments within defined framework
• Produce and negotiate data processing agreements and coordinate with external counsel
• Engage with business owners to mitigate privacy/AI risk and report medium/high risks
• Analyze and escalate personal data breaches per a predefined schema
• Coordinate fact-finding for complaints and propose response letters
• Deliver privacy trainings and create training materials
• Coordinate delivery of privacy initiatives within major projects and support external PMs/SMEs

• 3-5 years of relevant working experience
• Solid and proven record in privacy
• International working experience is a plus
• Master degree in law (or equivalent) / Full law qualification a plus
• Relevant international privacy certification a plus (CIPP, CIPM, etc.)
