Manager, Sales - GKV Solutions (m/f/d) german-speaking

IQVIA Health System Services (HSS) is seeking an experienced commercial leader to further expand its position in the German statutory health insurance market. As Manager, Sales - GKV Solutions, you will own the sales agenda for a portfolio of operational, digital and data‑driven healthcare solutions and build trusted relationships with senior decision‑makers at statutory health insurers. You will operate primarily at business unit leadership and executive‑minus‑one level, lead complex multi‑stakeholder sales cycles and public procurement processes, and manage a small sales team. The role requires strong market credibility, commercial discipline and a distinctly hands‑on approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for IQVIA HSS within the German statutory health insurance market.
• Drive sustainable revenue growth by identifying, qualifying and converting new business opportunities.
• Build, maintain and expand strategic relationships with senior stakeholders at statutory health insurers.
• Lead complex sales processes from initial opportunity assessment through solution design, negotiation and contract closure.
• Lead and actively contribute to public tenders and procurement processes, including content development, bid strategy and internal coordination.
• Work closely with Product Management, Operations, Delivery, Legal and Finance to create compelling, commercially viable customer solutions.
• Manage, coach and develop a small sales team and create clear accountability for pipeline, activities and results.
• Represent IQVIA HSS at customer meetings, industry events, conferences and relevant market forums.
• Monitor market, regulatory and competitive developments and translate them into concrete commercial opportunities.

Solutions You Will Represent

• Pharmacy claims processing and related services pursuant to Section 300 SGB V
• Audit and reimbursement services pursuant to Section 106d SGB V
• Solutions supporting selective contracting models
• Data‑driven healthcare, analytics and prevention solutions
• Additional digital and operational services from the IQVIA Health System Services portfolio

What You Bring

• Several years of successful sales experience in complex B2B services, software, consulting or healthcare solutions.
• Proven experience working with German statutory health insurers and a strong understanding of their structures, decision‑making processes and priorities.
• Sound knowledge of public procurement and tender processes, with the ability to contribute both strategically and operationally.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally managing and developing a small commercial team.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to engage confidently with business unit leaders and senior decision‑makers.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills in German and English.
• A proactive, highly organised and hands‑on working style, combined with strong ownership and execution discipline.
• Willingness to travel within Germany.
