Manager Taxes

In this role you will drive tax reporting and technology across the group, including exploration of AI-enabled solutions. Based in the HQ in Mettlach within Corporate Taxes, you will support both German and foreign tax obligations and collaborate with HR in tax matters. You will manage tax calculations for ~80 foreign entities, contribute to consolidated financial statements, and act as a liaison to tax software providers to ensure compliant, efficient processes. This position offers influence on tech direction and cross-functional tax initiatives.

• Calculate taxes for ~80 foreign entities during close and year-end
• Prepare notes to consolidated financial statements
• Perform true-ups between tax filings and year-end figures
• Liaise with software providers (e.g., AMANA GTC) to resolve issues and request updates
• Ensure external system access, coordinating with external IT support for smooth reporting
• Maintain and improve LucaNet TCR (mapping, master data, process enhancements)
• Evaluate and review technology opportunities for tax, including AI applications
• Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders (Group Reporting, SSCA)
• Handle ad hoc requests
• Participate in tax-related projects with Global Tax Advisor network
• Develop solutions for national and international tax cases with HR, Payroll, Compliance, Travel Management
• Provide ongoing support for expatriates and individuals with limited tax liability

• 3 years of experience in a tax consultancy or corporate tax department
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong interest in tech-driven tax solutions
