Managing Director, Institutional Sales - Private Markets - DACH Coverage

Drax-Altus is partnering with a leading private asset manager that has consistently delivered top-quartile returns across multiple fund vintages. With a proven track record of working alongside management teams to unlock growth, the fund operates across the European mid‑market with a broad sector focus.

They are expanding their fundraising and investor relations team and are seeking to hire a DACH specialist with a proven track record of raising assets in the region (Benelux also of interest) to lead capital formation activities among an institutional LP base.

The Role

• Lead fundraising efforts across current and future private equity and credit funds, focusing on institutional investors in the DACH region (Benelux also a secondary focus).
• Manage and expand relationships with LPs, family offices, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Represent the firm at investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows.
• Develop tailored marketing materials and investor communications.
• Contribute to the strategic development of the fundraising platform, including new product initiatives and geographic expansion.

The Requirements

• Proven experience in fundraising or investor relations, with a successful track record of raising assets in the DACH region.
• Comfortable operating independently as a “lone wolf” in the market.
• Strong hunter profile with a proactive approach to business development.
• Deep understanding of the European institutional investor landscape in DACH.
