Location and Working Environment

This is a permanent field‑based role in Nordrhein Westphalen, Hessen, Rheinland Pfalz, Saarland. Astellas offers a hybrid working model that combines office collaboration with flexibility for working from home, in accordance with the Responsible Flexibility Guidelines.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prioritize and select hospitals and relevant accounts in collaboration with Brand Teams and Key Account Managers.
• Analyze decision‑making structures and develop tailored account plans with KAMs and Medical Scientific Liaisons.
• Lead contract negotiations including pricing and supply conditions, within company guidelines.
• Monitor and manage existing contracts, ensuring successful implementation through appropriate systems and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and national decision‑makers, purchasing organizations, and professional associations to support strategic business objectives.

Essential Competences & Experience

• Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical, hospital, or broader healthcare sector.
• Experience in Account Management, Market Access, or customer‑facing commercial roles.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills combined with a business‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build long‑term stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is considered an advantage.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Business Administration, or equivalent.
