The Marketing and Communications Manager, Kentucky develops, manages and implements communication and/or media plans that facilitates comprehension, adoption and advancement of the organization’s goals and objectives.
The Marketing and Communications Manager, Kentucky is responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communications programs that drive awareness, revenue, influence and engagement in support of TNC’s conservation goals. They will work within Kentucky and with key stakeholders across the Southern U.S. Division and TNC’s marketing and communications group to coordinate and deliver assets and initiatives that meet the priorities set by senior management and speak to donors and other key audiences.
They will manage a variety of marketing and communications projects and plans —including earned media and related news releases and talking points, digital and social media, special events, and publications—while meeting set budgets and delivering high-quality products. They will build internal and external relationships to pursue compelling storytelling that facilitates the advancement of TNC’s goals and objectives in Kentucky. They may be required to respond to urgent requests while simultaneously moving foundational strategies forward.
This role is located in Kentucky, with a hybrid schedule that includes on‑site days each week to the Lexington, KY office.

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $69,275 - $76,138 . This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
