Marketing & Communications Specialist (m/f/d)

ATMOS Space Cargo is looking for a Marketing & Communications Specialist to help us tell our story and strengthen our external communication across the European space ecosystem.

In this role, you will combine strong communication and writing skills with a hands-on approach to content creation and visual design. You will work closely with engineers, leadership and other teams across ATMOS, understand technical topics and turn them into clear, engaging and visually compelling content.

Key responsibilities

• Create high-quality content for our website, social media, presentations, newsletters, events and other communication channels
• Develop compelling stories around our technology, missions, milestones, partnerships and people
• Translate complex technical and engineering topics into clear and engaging communication
• Create and develop visual communication assets, layouts and presentations
• Support and further develop ATMOS' tone of voice, messaging and visual identity
• Prepare company announcements, project updates, press materials and other external communications
• Work closely with engineers and internal stakeholders to identify relevant stories and content opportunities
• Manage content planning and publication across our communication channels
• Support communications around trade fairs, conferences, launches and other events
• Contribute to employer branding and help position ATMOS as an attractive employer in the European space sector
• Continuously improve our communication formats, templates and content

Profile required

• You bring professional experience in communications, marketing, content creation, journalism, PR or a comparable field
• You are a strong writer and storyteller and know how to adapt content to different audiences and channels
• Experience in the space or defence industry is a major plus; experience in aerospace, deep tech or another engineering-driven environment is also highly valued
• You enjoy understanding technical topics and turning complex information into accessible and compelling stories
• You have a strong eye for visual communication, design and brand consistency
• You combine creativity with a structured, hands-on approach and are comfortable managing several topics in parallel
• You communicate confidently in English; German and/or French is a strong plus, while Polish is an advantage

*This role requires regular onsite (min. 2-3 days/weeks) presence at our location in Lichtenau, Germany.
