This role requires a leader who combines strong business judgment with operational rigor, and who can continuously raise the performanceKey ResponsibilitiesOwn the German Marketplace P&L, delivering on revenue, margin, and free cash flow targetsDefine and execute country strategy, grounded in data, with clear prioritisation across categories and growth leversDrive input metrics (selection expansion, price competitiveness, seller performance, availability) to achieve output goalsLead a multi-functional team, setting high standards for hiring, performance management, and talent developmentInspect and improve mechanisms, establishing weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews to drive accountabilityPartner with global stakeholders to influence roadmap, allocate resources, and remove structural constraQualificationsExperience as a senior leader within e-commerce or marketplace with a Country/Regional scopeStrong understanding of European marketplace and sellersComfortable analysing complex data and providing actionable recommendationsStructured, performance-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including international teams;Proven success in building long-term B2B and cross border partnershipsFluent in English and German, both written and spoken.At JD.com, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
