As part of this master’s thesis, an application for visualizing various data from the Gehring CORE system is to be implemented. Gehring CORE is the I4.0 solution from Gehring Technologies GmbH + Co. KG, which collects various data and makes it available to the user. The data is to be visualized relative to the machine using AR.

Key points

• Creation and realization of a concept for the visualization of various data in 3D (line and bar charts, lists, warnings, …)
• Creation and realization of a concept for navigation between different views (e.g. gesture recognition, virtual control elements, …)
• Creation and realization of a concept for the identification and position recognition of specific Gehring machines for positioning the visualization with specific markers

Optional expansion options

• Creation and implementation of a concept for the identification and position detection of specific Gehring machines for positioning the visualization without additional markers
• Creation and realization of a concept for the identification of various machine components
• Creation and realization of a concept for sharing the current field of vision with other people

Your profile

• Degree in the field of computer science or a comparable field of study with a focus on computer science
• Programming language C#
• Programming language C/C++
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of 3D visualization techniques
