Your responsibilities

• Uniper has an established approach to both strategic and operational procurement.
• The thesis should develop a framework to assess the effectiveness and value contribution of strategic procurement.
• It should define the optimal sizing and management of the strategic supplier base.
• Furthermore, it should evaluate existing strategic levers and identify modern approaches to increase overall impact.

How to join the team

• Currently enrolled as a Master’s student in Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and quick familiarization with complex topics.
• Ideally knowledge about or experience in Procurement processes.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills, ideally first experience in creating evaluation models.
• Solution-oriented mindset with creative problem-solving abilities.
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) required. Knowledge of the German language is a plus.

At the same time, we continuously develop our methods and technical solutions to adapt to current developments and focus on the most value‑adding activities.
