M&BD Advisor Automotive and Mobility und Aerospace and Defense (m/w/d)

In this role you drive the marketing and business development strategy for Automotive & Mobility and Aerospace & Defense sectors within a global law firm. You’ll work with global and local M&BD teams and sector heads to strengthen market position, engage clients, and support long-term growth. You’ll lead campaigns, events, thought leadership, and RFP responses while coordinating cross-border activities. • Design and execute a global sector strategy aligned with firm objectives
• Develop yearly sector business plans and ensure effective implementation
• Plan and manage marketing campaigns, events, client trainings, materials, and social media content
• Lead directory and award submissions and coordinate thought leadership publications
• Collaborate with PR to raise profiles of sectors and partners
• Support client seminars, webinars, and marketing events including logistics and follow-up
• Develop responses to RFPs, pitches, and client-specific proposals
• Maintain M&BD resources and ensure knowledge sharing across the global sector team
• Support sector working groups and share best practices across teams
• Coordinate sponsorships, vendor selection, and measures ROI of investments
• Plan internal sector meetings and educate the firm about the sectors
• Contribute to broader M&BD projects and participation in Responsible Business program
• Adapt to support other sectors as needed
• Maintain strong internal communications and intranet resources
• Contribute to retreats, newsletters, and conference calls to promote capabilities

• Three years of relevant experience in legal or professional services
• Fluent in English and German
• Ability to independently execute campaigns and manage projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Initiative, self-motivation, and diplomatic adaptability
• Strong project management and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with the firm's AI tools preferred
• Knowledge or experience in Aerospace/Defense or Automotive/Mobility sectors preferred
